To give your wedding guests something a little difference on your big day why don’t you give them a personalized wedding favor which can be a more permanent reminder of your special day. This helps to ensure that the guests will remember where they received the favor and because many people attend a large number of weddings throughout their lifetimes, the favors they receive at these weddings may become indistinguishable.

For the wedding couple this is the best type of wedding favor they could give; knowing that whenever it is viewed, the person will remember the day exactly. Everyone can use a little help when they are arranging their wedding and help with wedding favors, if they are to be personalized, need to be made sooner rather than later.

Planning is the key issue here as unlike regular wedding favors, which can almost be left until the last minute to purchase, these require a little more effort and orders should be placed early. If you are fortunate it may be possible to order your wedding favors from a current stick item that will not have to manufactured to order but nevertheless, they will still need to be personalized and you may not be the only person in the queue. When this happens you can have your wedding favors delivered within a few days to what could be many weeks so you have to ask yourself if is worth the worry of not knowing if they will be delivered on time.

You do have the option of requesting a special order which will speed up the process but will obviously incur additional cost which could be up to three times as much as a normal order. Remember when you are discussing what to put on your personalized wedding gift, each word will cost and you are free to say what you like but you will need to put the name of the bride, groom, the date and possibly the location. Almost anything can be used as a personalized wedding favor with the most popular being candles and candle holders or photo frames which can bear the name of the couple without too much trouble but other ways to personalize favors exist that do not require the couples names.

Cookies for instance are popular as edible wedding favors and while they probably won’t last longer than the wedding day it is possible to have the image of the bride and groom printed on them. Bakeries can produce these cookies based on a photo you submit to them although they may require you to submit the photo electronically or work from a scan you have created.

If you really want to finish the effect then why not have the bakery also print your names on the cookie as well as the wedding cake picture. If you want to give your guests an edible wedding favor but want them to keep something as well; have the outer wrapping or ribbon printed with details of the wedding instead. Although these ribbons can be bought in one long role with your details repeated, it means someone will have to cut it so why not save some time and have the ribbons cut to length.
