Tips About Using Decorative Mirrors
April 28th, 2009 | by real |There are many ways in which you can use decorative mirrors to accentuate the look and feel in your home. I know that some people are keen on doing this but simply lack the right information and guidance.Below is a list of some of the ways you can use mirrors effectivelu.
There are lots of advantages for using mirrors to decorate your home. For one, they can be used to add some lights into the house as they reflect the outdoors. Secondly they tend to provide a sense of extra space.
What this all means is that you can use mirrors to “enlarge” a small room. As a cherry on top - they can be used to add some class and style to your house.
Here is a quick list of how to position them effectively
• Consider putting them at a corner in the room, on top of a table or above the fireplace. You can also put it at the entrance especially if there isn’t enough space when walking into the house.
• You also have an option to position decorative wall mirrors at an adjoining wall to widen the space.
• You can extend your hallway by placing it at the far end.
• You also have an option to place them side by side on a stair case not only for the view but to widen the staircase
• They can also do well when placed in the kitchen, bathroom or in the bedroom. This of course depends on the specific need.
• Avoid putting your mirror where it will reflect on some clumsy part of the house. I mean who I am sure you wouldn’t want to have your mess duplicated all over the house?
Regardless of your choice - be it round decorative mirrors, antique, unframed, floor, wall mirrors or what ever choice if properly placed they are most likely to make your home look great even to a child’s eye.
